A. Pengertian recount text
adalah sebuah text atau cerita yang menceritakan sebuah pengalaman seseorang. Kata kerja yang digunakan dalam recount text adalah menggunakan verb 2 (lampau). Tujuan recount text adalah untuk menghibur pendengar atau pembaca sehingga tidak terdapat konflik.
B.Jenis-Jenis Recount Text
Recount text dibedakan menjadi berikut.
•>>Personal Recount
Personal recount adalah jens teks yang
berfungsi untuk menceritakan tentang pengalaman pribadi penulis.

•>>Factual Recount
Faktual recount adalah jenis teks yang berisi laporan peristiwa yang benar- benar terjadi, misalnya laporan percobaan ilmu pengetahuan, laporan kepolisian.

Imaginative adalah jenis recout teks yang berguna menyajikan cerita imaginative lalu peristiwa atau kejadian yang telah terjadi dituliskan ke dalam. bentuk teks .

Susunan dari recount text adalah sebagai berikut.
• Menggunakan kalimat past tense (Lampau)
• Menggunakan kalimat past tense (Lampau)
Contoh : Las Sunday, my mother and I went shopping at a traditional market in my town.
• Menggunakan action verbs
Contoh : spent, went, brought, took, dan lain-lain.
• Menggunakan adverb dan adverbial phrase untuk mengungkapkan waktu, tempat dan cara.
Contoh : last Sunday, in Lampung, lately, dan lain sebagainya.
• Menggunakanconjunction dan time connectives guna mengurutkan peristiwa atau kejadian.
Contoh: and, or, after that, dan lain sebagainya.
D.Contoh Recount Text
Trip to the Zoo
Orientation:
•Yesterday my family went to the zoo to see the elephant and other animal. When we got to the zoo, we went to the shop to buy some food to give to the animals.
Event:
• After getting the food we went to the nocturnal house where we saw birds and reptiles which only come out at night.
Before lunch we went for a ride on the elephant. It was a thrill to ride it. Dad nearly fell off when he let go of the rope. During lunch we fed some birds in the park. In the afternoon we saw the animals being fed.
Re-orientation:
•When we returned home we were tired but happy because we had so much fun.
Perjalanan ke Kebun Binatang
Pembuka:
Kemarin keluargaku pergi ke kebun binatang untuk melihat gajah dan hewan lainnya. Ketika sampai di kebun binatang, kami pergi ke toko untuk membeli makanan yang akan aku berikan langsung kepada hewan.
Isi:
Setelah mendapatkan makanannya, kami pergi ke rumah nokturnal dimana kami dapat melihat burung dan reptil yang hanya keluar pada malam hari.
Sebelum makan siang, kami pergi untuk mengendarai gajah. Sungguh mengasyikkan dapat mengendarainya. Ayah hampir terjatuh saat melepaskan tali pegangan yang diberikan. Saat makan siang, kami memberi makan beberapa burung di taman. Sore harinya, kami melihat hewan-hewan itu diberi makan oleh petugas.
Penutup/kesimpulan:
Ketika kami kembali ke rumah, kami lelah tapi bahagia karena kami bersenang-senang.

On Wednesday, my students and I went to Yogyakarta. We stayed at Dirgahayu Hotel which is not far from Malioboro.
On Thursday, we visited the temples in Prambanan. There are three big temples, the Brahmana, Syiwa and Wisnu temples. They are really amazing. We visited only Brahmana and Syiwa temples, because Wisnu temple is being renovated.
On Friday morning we went to Yogya Kraton. We spent about two hours there. We were lucky because we were led by a smart and friendly guide. Then we continued our journey to Borobudur. We arrived there at four p.m. At 5 p.m. we heard the announcement that Borobudur gate would be closed.
In the evening we left for Jakarta by wisata bus.
